Thing #3
Well, I have set up a blog before, so adding another blog wasn't too large of a task. Making my avatar was fun. Looking through everything can take forever - it definitely helps to use the search box. I found that you can use the HTML, but you have to add it to a post, so it wouldn't just stay on the side as a gadget.
